ps3 firmware 3.42 DONT UPDATE.

DO NOT upgrade to 3.42 if you wish to jailbreak your ps3 it isnt supported. Im sticking at 3.41 and recommend you all do the same you can bypass PSN firmware detection by entering 67.202.81.137 into your primary DNS under internet settings ( so you can still play online with 3.41 without updating your console).

    Didn't they made a usb hack for the ps3 already? And that supposively it wont matter if you update or not?

    A usb hack as been made but only works on certain chips all of which are out of stock atm the hack has been ported to many devices such as nokia n900 various HTC phones even a ti-84 calculator. As i have none of those im patiently waiting for an ipod/iphone port if not ill just buy a chip.
    there are companies selling "jailbreaks" for stupid amounts of money i wouldnt go near it the free open source way is always the best.
